The more I study the Scripture and counsel with people at Hope Biblical Counseling and Training Center, the more I am convinced there is no way we can over emphasize the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.  I have put together a list of Seventy Things about the Holy Spirit and His work in Our Lives.  I am sure there are more things that He does.  It is our prayer this list will help others in their walk with God to have a real, intimate, personal, and passionate relationship with God and to realize how important the work of the Holy Spirit is for each of us.  May we learn each day and every moment of the day to submit ourselves to Him at the point of impact.

James 4:6-8, But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.  (7) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.  (8) Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

Ephesians 4:30-32, And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.  (31)  Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:  (32)  And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

Ephesians 5:17-18, Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.  (18)  And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled (controlled) with the Spirit;
